The Tagline

Using the tagline.

The Pella tagline communicates what sets Pella apart from other companies. Just like the logo, it is important that the tagline always meets the guidelines in this book. The tagline can never be used without the Pella logo.

 

Artwork matters.

The tagline image is a piece of artwork, it's not type — do not typeset the tagline. Use only the tagline artwork supplied by Pella Corporation. You can download the files here, or request the tagline artwork from Pella's Marketing Communications Department.

size matters.

The Pella logo should be at least 1/2" tall, and the tagline should be at least 1-3/8" wide (1-1/2" wide when used in the vertical format).

acceptable spacing.

Whenever possible, allow a clear space around the logo that is equal to 1/4 of the width of the bull’s-eye. Do not crowd it with text — this will distract from the logo.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The logo can be placed over a solid black or colored background with no gradient.

Watch for the white rule.

DON'T reword, retypeset or re-create the tagline in any way.

DON'T change the color of the tagline — it’s black or white only.

DON'T move or use the logo and tagline in any other configuration.

DON'T stretch or distort the proportions of the tagline in any way.

DON'T use the tagline as part of a sentence.

DON'T combine the tagline with any other logos.

DON'T use the tagline without the logo.

DON'T get the tagline too close to the logo.
